On offer is a superb 17th Century handwritten Latin manuscript book: "Logica Metaphisica et Theologia Naturalia" ex libris "Chateau de Pointis". In three parts: 1) Ad Universam Philosophiam; 2) Philosophia Trancendantalis Seu Metaphisica; 3) Theologia Naturalis. Stunning, though flawed spine missing 3 inches of the leather gilt ornamented cap, severe rubbing to the edges, is illustrated with several flourishes in the 396 hand numbered pages, including 7 pages of manuscript index, 7 full page engraved [by Du Bois and C. Galle] plates. The work of an unnamed scrivener, nice calligraphic hand throughout the title page names one 'Geraldi Cavailher' who may have been the original author or indeed the scrivener though this is unlikely.
