On offer is an 1835 handwritten Book of Memories in a lovely red leather album. Deborah Hayes, later known as Deborah Hurd lived in Dover, N.H. at the time the entries were made. Deborah tipped in a picture of herself and on the back of another card was a statement of her birth, death etc. The book's first entry, dated Dover June 2, 1836 seems to have been reserved as a place of honor as the reader finds the first entry is a 3 page rousing dedication by firebrand abolitionist, member of the Underground Railroad in Pennsylvania the Reverend Enoch Mack: "My Dear Young Friend You have present...
