Archive of two (2) handwritten letters, both dated January 14th, 1792, both physically attached at the bottom left corner with sealing wax. Very interesting: The first letter, beautifully penned, whose author's signature is indecipherable yet whose status as a 'ancient surgeon to the King' is foremost in presentation, tells of the story of a young boy named Colinot. The boy has been severely injured to the point of blood building up under his eye lids and that he required many sutures to the head and around the nose.
