On offer is an original typed letter signed [TLS] dated The Society for Ethical Culture, NY, April 14, 1886, 1-1/2 pages by Felix Adler (1851-1933) Jewish rationalist intellectual, popular lecturer, religious leader and social reformer who founded the Ethical Culture movement. Although not mentioned by name this was written to Douglas Volk, the American artist noted for his famous portrait of Abraham Lincoln that was used for the postage stamp.
