On offer is a very interesting 1915 handwritten manuscript diary kept by a young lady living in early World War I Toronto, Ontario. There are entries for every day from January 1st until August 1915, after which the entries are sporadic. She was a sales clerk at Eaton's Department Store. In March she suddenly became ill and was hospitalized. She was operated on the same day, and remained in hospital recovering for about two weeks. She doesn't identify her illness.
